Miss Olongapo bags 2013 Miss Philippines Earth title. |
With her outstanding beauty, wits and a “heart to take care
of the environment for ourselves and future generations,” Miss Olongapo Angelee
delos Reyes was singled out as the best contender for Miss Philippines Earth
title this year.
She was crowned Sunday, May 19.
The 24-year-old native of Olongapo City bested out 46 other
aspiring beauty queens, making her country’s representative to Miss Earth
beauty pageant, hailed as one of the three biggest beauty pageants in the
world.
“The holographic stage designs in SM MOA Arena seemed to glow especially bright for Angelee.”
Joining the delos Reyes are the other winners of the night,
namely: Kimverlyn Suiza (Nagcarlan, Laguna) as Miss Earth-Air; Nancy Leonard (Zamboanga
City) as Miss Earth-Water; Alma Cabasal (West Coast, U.S.A.) as Miss Earth
Fire; and Bernadette Mae Aguirre (Santa Maria, Bulacan) as Miss Philippines
